How they met
Timothy Camus and Tamika Snow met in high school. Tamika shares “we became best friends while planning a group camp to Moreton Island in grade 12 and started dating during our first year of university.
The proposal
Tim proposed at our first home with our fur baby, Kyda. Tim’s mum was supposedly taking some
family pictures of us. Tim was holding the ring behind his head in all of the photos until he got
down on one knee and asked the big question.”
The big day
Tim and Tamika got married at The Chapel Montville and it was one of the wettest April days in years. All their vendors bar one (me included) got Covid and had to use their backups.
Their wedding date – 23/4/22
“Our wedding theme was Rustic Australian Native with tones of dusty pink, burgundy and navy.”
“OMG there were so many wedding day highlights, including our ‘first look’, braving the weather
on One Tree Hill and Tim seeing me walking down the aisle. Other highlights were playing ‘Rock
Paper Scissors’ in the middle of the ceremony, our non-traditional alternating vows, the ice cream
cart after the ceremony, ‘nailing’ our first dance and the caricaturist drawing cartoons at the
reception. Our biggest highlight was having our friends and family with us to watch us tie the
knot.”
“We spent our honeymoon at Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji.”
Our advice
“Our advice for other couples planning their wedding is don’t sweat the small stuff. No one will
remember anyway!”
